MRG International journalist trip on minority and indigenous rights
In Maasai indigenous culture, men are superior to women.
Maasai women get married early. Anywhere from 13 - 15 years old. However, with more education and empowerment, many families send their daughters to study and the girls marry older.
In the most remote Maasai communities, only a handful of girls and young women avoid FGM. Jane is one of them. Despite popular belief, she married and plans to have children, even without FGM.

Burma
I visited Myanmar twice and each time it was a short election trip, during which I intensely looked for stories on latest democratic, or not, development. Getting in touch with the people long opressed and isolated by the military regime was key to covering the stories for Slovak Radio and other media.

Northern trails of Laos and Vietnam
A month trip across the North of Laos and Vietnam.
The mountains, hills, people, food, tribes, nature, traditions and religion in various Laotian colors were one of the most amazing experiences in Southeast Asia
Vietnam has been an almost surreal experience of the same landscapes, village life and poverty as in Laos, but with Hanoi's vibrant culture, touristy seaside life and deep communism.
